Build WhatsApp into your own systems
A REST API with scoped keys for sending messages, reading templates and managing contacts.
API v1 is in development
The endpoints below describe the API that is being built. They are not live yet — this page will be replaced with full request/response reference and code samples when v1 ships.
Authentication
Requests will be authenticated with a scoped API key sent as a Bearer token. Keys are created in your dashboard and can be revoked at any time; they are never the same credential as your login.

POST /api/v1/messages
Send a template or session message to one or more recipients.
GET /api/v1/templates
List the templates approved on your WhatsApp Business account.
GET /api/v1/contacts
Read and page through your contacts.
A rate limit will apply per key. If you need API access sooner, get in touch.

Everything in the API is also available in the app — campaigns, inbox, templates and chatbots.
